Why revision differs from primary surgery
An unsatisfying double eyelid line, asymmetry, an overly high or loosened crease: each has a different underlying cause. The surgeon assesses skin condition, scar tissue, adhesion depth and eye-opening strength before deciding what can be corrected and how.
Timing matters
Tissue needs time to soften after the first operation. In most cases JW advises waiting until healing has stabilised — commonly around six months — before revising, so the correction works with settled tissue rather than active scarring.
