For revision patients, the consultation is the most important appointment of the entire process. JW Plastic Surgery in Seoul walks through what actually happens during that visit.
Before you arrive: the records phase
Ideally, your surgical records, implant details and photos have been shared in advance. The consultation then starts from analysis instead of information-gathering, a meaningful upgrade, especially for patients flying in.

Step 1: your account, in your words
What bothers you, since when, and what you want instead. Specific language matters: “the left fold is wider” beats “it looks wrong.” Notes you prepared at home are welcome here.
Step 2: examination and imaging
The surgeon examines tissue quality, scar condition and structural support. For noses this includes assessing what cartilage remains; for breasts, imaging of the implant and capsule. This is where the revision plan gets its constraints.

Step 3: the honest conversation
What can realistically improve, what cannot, what the trade-offs are, and whether waiting or not operating is the better path. A revision consultation that skips this step is a sales meeting.
Step 4: the plan and the timeline
If surgery makes sense: technique, materials, recovery schedule, stitch removal and flight timing, mapped against your travel dates. You leave with a plan you can actually book around. Outcomes vary by individual; arrange the records review through Clinic in Korea.
