Signs revision may be worth discussing
A crease that has loosened or disappeared, clear asymmetry between the eyes, a line set higher than intended, or discomfort when opening the eyes — these are the common starting points. Temporary swelling-related unevenness in the months right after surgery, by contrast, often resolves on its own.
What to prepare before consulting
Records of the previous operation — date, method, and any operative notes or before-and-after photos — materially improve the assessment. If records are unavailable, photographs from before the first surgery still help the surgeon reconstruct what was done.
Questions worth asking
